South + Pine American Eatery: A Flavorful Journey Through New American Cuisine

We had brunch outside on Sat. Shared two appetizers and two mains. Food was fresh and delicious! Service was great as well. Love the lamb meatballs, very tender. Salad was fresh. Came back and glad to see a fresh menu! Burrata appetizer was fresh, my salmon with kimchi rice was full of flavor and the desserts were great!

It was a busy Friday evening around 7. If you know Morristown, you know it's very lively. We were seated inside, no wait time despite how busy it was which was very nice. Ambient lighting and upbeat music filled the air. The staff was very attentive. Never rushing us but checking in just enough. We did not pay attention to the fact that it there was no hard alcohol, only a wine infused menu. They had great options. My friend asked to have the closest thing they could make to an "Old Fashion" and it turned out pretty well! We did not miss the hard liquor. When the food came, the presentation was a 10/10. My friend got pork ribs that came with cornbread which he rated a 10/10. As a gluten-free, dairy-free girly, it's a lil harder for me. I opted for the chicken and they quickly accommodated my request for the parmesan truffle fries (minus the parmesan and confirmed that it would be made separately to ensure there was no gluten in the batter). The fries were mouth-watering! I could not get enough! The chicken, not so much but it was plated beautifully! All in all, it was a great experience and we never felt rush, even when it was 25 mins before closing and they were tidying up.

We recently celebrated birthdays / Mother's Day with a great meal at South+Pine American Eatery. I highly recommend this BYOB restaurant as the a Chef / Owner, Leia Gaccione, is super talented. She knows how to make creative dishes that have bold and delicious flavors using ingredients that are sourced locally. The outdoor terrace was also a pleasant experience.

Popped in this week for a lunch with my sisters and niece. It was quiet enough to talk and service was great. My family members got the beet salad with chicken and really crispy, seasoned fries... They liked them so much they got a second order. I got the "pick two" BLT on toast and butternut squash soup, and they were both elevated... Might be the best butternut soup I've had. We appreciate the gf options since half of us can't have gluten. Will be back!

We went for lunch without a reservation; the place was full but thankfully we only had to wait 5-10 mins to be seated. The table was by the glass doors so there was a little bit of a draft being it snowed later that night. The place was decorated for the holidays & it looked very nice & festive. Their normal decor has a kitchy Soho feel which was fun. The food was very good; I only got the seasonal butternut squash soup with a side of whole grain toast. It was very filling that I could not finish it. My friend had the goddess salad with steak on it & she loved it! I regret not taking any pictures.

I love this restaurant, I’ve come many times for brunch and dinner. They have an excellent menu that changes seasonally and I think the price is more accessible for the quality of food than other places in the area. We always appreciate that it’s BYO! The staff is wonderful also. One of my favorite places

Came here for brunch and sat outside. Got the chicken and waffles. The dish comes out with the syrup on it which i wish it didnt. Id prefer to control my own pour. It was still good! Also, it is Byob

Spectacular food with fresh, unique flavor combinations that rivals the best restaurants in the area. Service was great, the restaurant itself was quite crowded and loud on a Saturday night. BYOB.
